What People Are Saying
“Laura has been an incredible tutor for [my child]. She’s patient, encouraging, and knows exactly how to explain things in a way that clicks. [My child] looks forward to her sessions and has grown so much in both confidence and skill since working with her. We’re really grateful for the impact Laura has had this year!”
— Alaa D., parent of a 7 year old student
“Laura seems very knowledgeable and patient. She makes learning math fun with a variety of games that helps to build my child’s confidence.”
— Lakeisha W., parent of a 10 year old student “We have had an incredibly positive experience working with Miss Laura. Our son has made tremendous strides in reading — not only in his skills and confidence, but also in his overall attitude toward reading. What used to feel like a struggle has become something he approaches with much more engagement and independence. He no longer resists sitting down to read or complete assignments, which is a major shift for him.
Laura has also helped him make meaningful progress in test preparation and performance. His CATS scores improved significantly, and he felt much more prepared and confident going into the ISAAD test. We also saw strong improvement in his ISAAD results. Just as importantly, Laura taught him how to slow down, take his time, and stay focused — skills that have helped him avoid careless mistakes and show what he is truly capable of.
Laura is incredibly patient with her students and has a keen ability to adapt to each child’s personality. She relates to children in a way that feels warm, encouraging, and effective, while also keeping them focused and on task. She always maintains her composure and is able to redirect students when needed without frustration or pressure.
We are so grateful for the impact Laura has had on our son. She has helped him become a more attentive, engaged, and confident reader, and we would highly recommend her to any family looking for thoughtful, effective, and encouraging educational support.”
